10-11 February 2025 – USIM@Pulau Bum-Bum 2025 ia a community service program commited to fostering meaningful interaction and engagement with the children youth, and villagers of Pulau Bum-Bum, Semporna, Sabah.
Our engagement with the Bajau Laut community has been a truly enriching experience, as we connected with youth, activists, and shared valuable insights on nurturing a deeper understanding of Islam. As part of this initiative, ISI successfully delivered 110 sets of Iqra’ books to beginners and children, generously provided by the Centre of Waqf and Zakat USIM (PWZ) and kind-hearted donors.
This collaboration highlights the importance of working together to address the needs of the community. It reflects the broader Islamic perspective, which places emphasis on societal responsibility, reform, and humanitarian efforts as integral components of our shared Islamic identity.
